Jeff Liljeberg of CB Richard Ellis represented Charter One Bank in negotiations with JF McKinney & Associates, which represents the building's developers, Higgins Development Partners, LLC and Pritzker Realty Group, LP.
Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw signed on for 450,000 sf to help kick-start the $427-million project, which is competing with another new building less than a block south, John Buck Co.'s 111 S. Wacker Dr. Goldman, Sachs & Co. is leasing 180,000 sf while Hyatt Corp. and affiliated companies staked out 315,000 sf. IBM Corp. also has notified Prime Group Realty Trust that it plans to leave 280,670 sf at 330 N. Wabash Ave. for space at the Hyatt Center, designed by Pei Cobb Freed Associates, LLP, in August 2006.
