Two GVA Williams Brokers Join C&W

NEW YORK CITY-Robert J. Brennan and Robert M. Romano, formerly of GVA Williams, have joined Cushman & Wakefield. Brennan served as vice chairman, while Romano was executive managing director for GVA here in New York. The pair led the corporate services group and partnered on a variety of international, national and regional tenant representations. Their client roster included Prudential Financial, JP Morgan Chase, the Interpublic Group, Zurich North America and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. The pair represented Prudential in the disposition of more than 3.3 million sf and over 300 space acquisitions and lease renewals totaling two million sf.

“Brennan and Romano exhibit excellence in commercial real estate both in New York and nationally,” says Ken Krasnow, Cushman’s executive managing director and New York area leader. “The addition of these talented real estate professionals to our firm will reinforce our position as the commercial brokerage firm of choice for the most prominent organizations.” Both will serve as executive directors at Cushman. GVA Williams officials did not comment on the pair’s departure.
