Catherine Courts, DeWitt Place Hit Market

CHICAGO-The 498-unit Catherine Courts on the Northwest Side is being offered at $47.3 million while the DeWitt Place Apartments in Streeterville is available at $10.9 million or $123,864 per unit.

CHICAGO-A 498-unit complex on the Northwest Side and 88-unit building in Streeterville are among the latest multifamily assets to hit the market. The four-building Catherine Courts at 5300 N. Cumberland Ave. is being offered at $47.3 million while the asking price is $10.9 million for DeWitt Place Apartments at 900 N. DeWitt Pl.

Inland Real Estate Sales, Inc. is marketing Catherine Courts as a condominium conversion candidate. It is located less than two miles east of O’Hare International Airport, three blocks from the Kennedy Expressway and Chicago Transit Authority’s Blue Line. “This property has great appeal to prospective homeowners who want a city address but don’t want the city feel,” says Joe Esselman, representing the sellers with associates Kevin List, Jordan Shtulman and Andrew Watson.
