OAK BROOK, IL-Inland Real Estate Corp. has added two suburban shopping centers totaling nearly 200,000-sf to its portfolio for $40.8 million. The 103,714-sf Mapleview Shopping Center in north suburban Grayslake is 95% occupied while occupancy at the 94,860-sf Showplace Theatre Center in northwest suburban Crystal Lake is 98%.
A Jewel/Osco grocery store anchors Mapleview Shopping Center. Blockbuster Video, Hair Cuttery, H&R Block, LaSalle Bank, Quizno's and Radio Shack on its tenant roster at the center on Belvidere Road between Ivanhoe and Atkinson roads. Regal Showplace 16 anchors Showplace Theatre Center, located at US Route 14 and Route 31. Bennigan's, Back to Bed, Cingular Wireless, Noodles & Co. also are among the tenants there. The previous owner of the Crystal Lake center was Lake Zurich-based Showplace Theatre Co., according to property records.
