Durels joined the company in 1998 as a senior vice president. He had spent 16 years with the commercial real estate firm Helmsley-Noyes. Durels directs leasing efforts for the entire portfolio of 28 office properties totaling approximately 17.4 million sf. Under his direction, SL Green completed nearly 300 leasing transactions totaling 1.8 million sf last year.
Piccinich joined the firm as senior vice president, director of property management and construction in 2002. Prior to joining SL Green, he was a vice president at JP Morgan and general manager of the World Trade Center. He is responsible for directly overseeing the management of the offices which have a total market capitalization of approximately $4.6 billion.
Marc Holliday, SL Green's president and CEO calls Durels "instrumental in helping to maximize the value of our portfolio." He says Piccinich has "contributed significantly to the firm's main business strategy of continually upgrading the company's portfolio, operations and management and construction team."
