JBG Cos. is the developer behind the project and Tishman Construction Corp. was recently tapped to act as general contractor. Construction of the project will likely commence sometime during the third quarter of this year at a cost approximately $78 million to complete.

The JBG Cos. expects to complete construction of the new building in 2007. For JBG, the project represents the company's last "fee development" in the pipeline, a company spokesperson tells GlobeSt.com. JBG, which has been onboard the APhA project for years, stopped engaging in third-party building activities in 1999.
