Senior vice president Joseph I. Neverauskas says the Lake County location made the office campus an attractive acquisition target for the company, which recently changed its name from Berwind Property Group. "In the Chicago metropolitan area, Lake County has historically been a desirable location for corporate headquarters," he says. "As the economy continues to strengthen, we anticipate significant growth in the market as companies currently located in Lake County expand, and others decide to relocate to the area."

The property includes a 560-seat theater-style conference center, a fitness center, training rooms, two full-service cafeterias, and a day-care facility. It joins the Tallgrass Corporate Center in southwest suburban Bolingbrook in Berwind Property Group's recent repositioning portfolio. The 550,000-sf property at 1000 Remington Blvd. in the Remington Lakes Business Center was acquired last summer for $9.9 million.

Cushman & Wakefield senior managing directors Margery Westcott and David H. Wenk represented Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Co.
