Among the hotels Interstate is now charged with operating are 14 Wyndham properties, three Doubletree brands, two Hiltons, one Radisson, and the independent hotels Denver South Hotel and Houston Northwest Inn. The new ownership plans to spend $75 million on upgrades to the hotels.

"This is a first-rate portfolio of stabilized properties and upscale brands," Interstate CEO Thomas F. Hewitt says. "We anticipate a seamless transition into the Interstate organization."
