Coffee Shop, Restaurant Set Up Shops

DETROIT-Wells Real Estate Investment Trust's Downtown office building at 150 W. Jefferson lands two retail tenants in Grabba Java and 150 West Café.

DETROIT-A coffee shop and a new indoor/outdoor café are part of the revitalization of the 150 W. Jefferson Building, a 505,417-sf class A property. Grabba Java opened its store at 150 W. Jefferson earlier this year as its first location in the city, while construction on 150 West Café is already under way with a grand opening slated for spring.

Once completed, the eatery will feature outdoor seating along Larned Street. Larson Realty Group is managing the build-out for both projects.

Wells Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. acquired 150 W. Jefferson in March 2003. At that time, the company hired local real estate firm Larson Realty Group to handle property management, and Trammell Crow to handle leasing for the property.
