Located in Arlington's bustling Ballston submarket, Arlington Gateway includes the completed 21-story, 404,000-sf the Continental condominium building with 411 residences; the 15-story Westin Arlington Gateway with 336 guestrooms currently under construction; and nearly 25,000 sf of retail. The entire class A project, located off Interstate 66 near Fairfax Drive at 901 Glebe Rd., is reported to have a total development price tag of approximately $200 million.

Arlington Gateway's office is a mixed-use endeavor including within its 550,000-sf confines a 200,000-sf underground parking facility, a subterranean fitness center and ground-level retail space. Already, several businesses have staked a claim to the office space including law firm Watson Wyatt & Co., which preleased 120,000 sf less than a year ago. Other occupants will include law firm Nixon & Vanderhye, having signed on for 52,000 sf, and project management training and consulting firm ESI, which committed to 45,000 sf. Michael Ellis and Herbert A. Mansinne of real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle are handling leasing activities at the office property, where space is being marketed for $33 to $36 per sf.
