The Irvine, CA- based semiconductor manufacturer needed overflow space for its Scottsdale location. The plan calls for an immediate takeover of 1245 W. Geneva Dr., says Cameron Boyd, an associate with Ross Brown Partners Inc. She, Rick Collins and Curtis Brown represented the building owner, Denver-based Dividend Capital Trust, in negotiations that produced a lease valued at $168,000.
"Time was of the essence," Boyd tells GlobeSt.com, "and they took the building as-is--no TI dollars, nothing." She says the building, empty about eight months, was particularly attractive because it has a 2,000-sf office and nearly a half acre of fenced storage areaMicrosemi's local operation is located at 8700 E. Thomas Rd. in Scottsdale. The firm, represented by Tom Chase of Phoenix-based Asquith Realty, also has operations in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Ireland and Shanghai.
