Thrivent Financial had acquired the property through foreclosure. "There was substantial interest in the property," says Millennium Properties, Inc.'s Greg Block, whose company also acted as Thrivent Financial's receiver. "The O'Hare industrial submarket continues to be a one of the strongest in the city due to the exposure to I-294."
The property is immediately south of the Tri-State Tollway. Block and Millennium Properties president Daniel J. Hyman represented Thrivent Financial and Basswood LLC.
In an unrelated industrial sale here, Deerfield-based pharmacy giant Walgreen Corp. sold a 23,247-sf building at 10551 W. Anderson Pl. to Luck Envelope Co. for $750,000. Luck Envelope Co. is relocating from Forest Park. Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International vice president Theresa Gleason, CCIM and Emmett Thiessen of U.S. Equities handled negotiations for both parties.
