Law Firm Moves to Chrysler Building in 88,000-SF Deal

NEW YORK CITY-Law firm Moses & Singer have signed a 15-year lease for 88,000 sf of office space at the Chrysler Building at 405 Lexington Ave. Exact dollar figures were not available, but the asking prices for the property are in the $50-per-sf range.The space is on the 11th, 12th and 13th floors and the lease carries options to renew and expand. Moses & Singer will relocate from its current offices at 1301 Ave. of Americas to the Chrysler Building in August. Michael Cohen, chairman of GVA Williams executive committee, and Robert T. Tunis, senior executive managing director, negotiated the deal on behalf of the firm. The building’s landlord, Tishman Speyer Properties, was represented in house.”As a legal industry expert, we are constantly tracking law firms. Therefore, when three floors at this landmark Midtown building became available we immediately knew that it was a perfect fit for Moses & Singer,” Cohen says in a release.
