18-Unit Multifamily Asset Rings Up $1M

PHOENIX-A couple from Carlsbad, CA claims La Vita, a fully occupied, class C complex that attracted four other would-be buyers to the listing. The couple wins the deal by meeting the $1.08-million ask.

PHOENIX-A couple from Carlsbad, CA has paid 100% of the $1.08-million list for La Vita, an 18-unit complex in Central Phoenix. The fully leased, class C complex roped five offers in one week of marketing.

Sigmund Neufeld and Patrick Veillette of Las Vegas sold the 6703 N. 17th Ave. asset to John and Linda Hopkins, who put down 30% and secured a loan for the balance, Brian Smuckler, an associate in Phoenix for Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co., tells GlobeSt.com. The listing received five offers in one week of marketing, he adds.
