Regent Expands Midtown Presence

NEW YORK CITY-Expanding its Midtown presence, Regent Business Centers signed on for 45,000-sf of sublease space at 1325 Ave. of the Americas. This is the company’s third location here. The provider of business facilities also has approximately 35,000 sf at 575 Lexington Ave. and the same amount of space at 787 Seventh Ave. Deutsche Bank was the sublessor.

This third location, which consists of the entire 27th and 28th floors, represents part of a national expansion for the company, which currently has 12 locations across the US including ones in Hackensack, NJ, Denver, Los Angeles, Brentwood, CA, Burbank, CA and Century City, CA. Built in 1989, the 750,000-sf 1325 Ave. of the Americas, owned by the Paramount Group, is home to tenants such as Warner Bros., ING Financial, Hilton Hotels Corp., ACE Financial Services and the William Morris Agency.

CB Richard Ellis’ Roger Griswold, a senior vice president in the firm’s Midtown office, represented Regent. CBRE’s Robert Alexander, David Maurer-Hollaender, Douglas Lehman, Alan Wildes and David Berkey acted on behalf of Deutsche Bank. Financial details of the transaction were not revealed.
