Brad Goff was named founding partner and principal broker for ARA Phoenix. "ARA really needed to be in Phoenix and have the market covered," Goff tells GlobeSt.com. "Their clients wanted them to be in Phoenix."

More than 1,600 of ARA's clients expressed interest in a national survey about acquiring multifamily properties in the Valley. The popularity of condo conversions compelled ARA to set up the local office, according to Jeff Hawks, principal of ARA Denver and chairman of ARA nationally. The Phoenix office is part of the Denver office, the company's western hub.

"It's really helps to have the national platform," Goff says. The plan is to add three to five more brokers for the ARA Phoenix office, he says.

TCC's area director Craig Henig was not available for comment by publication time. Goff is the second multifamily specialist to leave TCC's Phoenix office. In January, Robert Bull left to launch Transwestern Commercial Services' Southwest Multifamily Group.
