HOLLY TOWNSHIP, MI-Emagine Entertainment, Inc. and Paragon Developments have announced plans to jointly develop and operate a 14-screen state-of-the-art theatre here next year. The venue will be located immediately south of Grand Blanc Township between I-75 and Dixie Highway.
The Emagine-branded 55,000 sf theatre will anchor the first phase of Paragon's Woodfield South retail and mixed-use development. It is envisioned the theater will serve the rapidly growing southern Genesee and northern Oakland county markets, company officials say.
The theatre will feature the latest technology in projection and sound equipment. Plans call for each auditorium will include wall-to-wall screens, digital sound, plush high-back rocking theatre seats with cup-holder armrests, and 46-inch row spacing.
"Emagine is the ideal anchor tenant," says Paragon Developments president Brian Mansour. "Their reputation for operating exceptionalquality theatres will only add to the success we have enjoyed in developing Woodfield."
With the addition of Emagine Holly, Emagine Entertainment, Inc. will operate 60 screens at four locations. Paragon Developments is spearheading the development of Woodfield, which spans both Genesee and Oakland counties along I-75 at exit 106. When completed, Woodfield will house over 3,000 residents on more than 1,000 acres and include an 18-hole championship golf course, retail shops, offices, restaurants, a theater and a hotel.
