Dubriwny Takes GSR Post

CHICAGO-Continuing on its growth trajectory, Real Estate Media has tapped veteran commercial real estate journalist Dana Dubriwny to a key post in its online editorial operation. Dubriwny comes aboard as GlobeSt.com’s Midwest bureau chief and as GlobeStRETAIL.com’s managing editor.

Dubriwny most recently served as editor of Chicago Industrial Properties, where she was responsible for in-depth news coverage of Chicago’s industrial market. She was also senior writer for the monthly Midwest Real Estate News as well as the Illinois Real Estate Journal and the Minnesota Real Estate Journal. During her career, Dubriwny served as the online editor of ConstructWorks.com and a staff writer for the Arlington Heights Daily Herald. Dubriwny holds a Master’s degree in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois in Springfield.

In her GlobeSt.com position, she will oversee the assignments of the website’s team of Midwest reporters. For GlobeStRETAIL, Dubriwny’s duties will include day-to-day management of much of the site’s editorial content. For both websites she will also be responsible for developing news and features on both a regional and national scale. She will report directly to the editors of both sites: John Salustri for GlobeSt.com and Ian Ritter for RETAIL.
