Ideas for the town center have focused on a major civic park and plaza for cultural activities like a farmers market, art festivals and outdoor concerts. The town center also would contain an office park, a 250-room business-class hotel, a small-scale grocery and other shops to serve the new neighborhood.
Damon Farber Associates will provide the planning and design expertise to assist the city in creating a plan for the future of this area. The city recently had its first public hearing on the Town Center concept, and will have two more on May 11 and June 15.
