Paul Kerber and William O'Connor, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap Real Estate's Detroit office, represented the seller, a Michigan-based private investor. After an extensive nationwide marketing campaign, the Kerber and O'Connor also secured the buyer, a local private investor. The buyer and seller declined to be immediately identified.
The building is the home to Qualex Photoprocessing Labs (a division of Kodak Films) and Siemens Dramatic Corp. The property, constructed in 1968, totals 140,093 sf on 14.12 acres. The Qualex occupancy at closing was 100%; the Siemens' space was dark at the time of sale.
