$200M Park Place Project Will Feature Westin

ANNAPOLIS, MD-A decision has been made with regard to the flag the 225-room hotel property at the Park Place mixed-use development will carry. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. has entered into an agreement with the Park Place joint venture ownership team of Jerome J. Parks and the Carlyle Group that will allow the hotel to operate under Starwood’s four-star Westin brand; Starwood is the owner of Westin Hotels & Resorts.

The hotel will serve as the focal point of the $200-million Park Place development, which will also feature two class A office buildings with a total of approximately 250,000 sf of office space, as well as ground-level retail space, a 208-unit luxury residential condominium structure, a performing arts center, room for additional retail offerings and parking space to accommodate over 1,000 vehicles.
