Staubach's new retail office is temporarily located at 2398 E. Camelback Rd. It will serve as Staubach's "flagship" office in the firm's western region. Staubach has had a presence in the Valley since 2000, offering office and industrial real estate services.
Cheatham, Pitts and Beeh have a combined 48 years of experience in retail real estate. Cheatham is a 21-year veteran while Pitts has 10 years' experience in site selection. Beeh has spent 17 years focusing on retail tenant and building owner representation. The trio has worked with a large group of retailers including Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, Lifetime Fitness, CVS Pharmacy, Bank One/Chase and Gap Inc.
CBRE's local office leader, Peter Bolton, says the firm already is talking with other industry players to replace the team. "We hated to lose them," he tells GlobeSt.com, but adds the local office has another retail team on the ground.
Bolton says Cheatham, Pitts and Beeh had been eager to invest in new retail developments. "CB feels it's a conflict of interest and they didn't have that opportunity here," he explains.
