COON RAPIDS, MN-Riverdale Crossing Shopping Center, a 333,515-sf community center located at US Highway 10 and Round Lake Boulevard, has signed five new tenants for some 48,000 sf of space.
United Properties, the Bloomington, MN-based commercial real estate firm, represented the owners, H.J. Development, in adding The Tile Shop for 24,000 sf, Northwestern Bookstores for 8,000 sf, Discount Tire for 8,000 sf, Turn Style Consignment Stores for 5,000 sf, and Eddington's Soup & Salad House for 3,000 sf. The terms of the leases were not disclosed.The majority of tenants will take occupancy of their spaces by fall 2005, according to Ned Rukavina, senior retail associate with United Properties Brokerage.
Rukavina says that the mix of restaurants and convenience retailers complements the anchors to the center. The new leases bring the Riverdale Crossing's occupancy up to 87%. The center, which was built in 1990, center is anchored by Cub Foods and Wal-Mart.
United Properties represented an institutional owner in the sale of Riverdale Crossing in January of this year. The purchaser, HJ Development, a Twin Cities-based investment group, selected United Properties to manage leasing on the property after the sale.The United Properties leasing team includes Rukavina, Mike Scott, senior vice president, and Jen Helm, retail associate.
