Rampe Is Leaving LMDC

NEW YORK CITY-Lower Manhattan Development Corp. president Kevin M. Rampe, who has worked on the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan since the inception of the LMDC in early 2002, has resigned. He served as president beginning in March 2003. Rampe will join Hamilton, Bermuda-based insurer Ace Limited as global ethics & compliance officer, starting May 23.

Rampe will continue to serve as a director and executive committee member of the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation. In that capacity, he will help lead an international fundraising campaign to build the memorial for those lost in the World Trade Center attacks of 1993 and 2001.

“It has been both an honor and a privilege to work on the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan and the recovery of our nation,” Rampe says.
