Bourget's Bike Works Inc. bought the 201-03 Lone Cactus Dr. building from an investment group from Haifa, Israel, according to Josh Holmes with Sperry Van Ness in Phoenix. "I knew Bourget was looking for expansion space so he was the first person I contacted when the property came on the market," he says, adding Bourget's existing operation fills a nearby 35,000-sf building.

Holmes, teaming with Sperry's Mark Phillips, says Bourget was the first offer for the property, but he needed 90 days to close the deal. Matt Hobaica of Lee & Associates Arizona represented the buyer.

Holmes says the 24-year-old building was vacant at sale time. One former occupant, HydraShield, went out of business and the other, a local door manufacturer, moved to a build-to-suit facility.
