Allina Leases 65,000 SF at Westgate

ST. PAUL-The hospital is expanding its hospital and pain management division by moving into CSM's Westgate V. The Allina lease brings occupancy to 65% at the 98,200-sf Westgate V, which opened a year ago. The company plans to move by July 1.

ST. PAUL-Allina Hospitals & Clinics is doubling the workforce of its hospice and pain-management division and will relocate its St. Paul headquarters. Allina, the Minneapolis-based healthcare provider, will lease 65,000 sf at the project for 10 years, relocating 300 employees to Westgate V, according to the commercial leasing department of CSM Corp., the developer of the project. CSM officials, who say that Allina is the building’s “lead tenant,” did not disclose other details of the lease.

The division is now based in the Court International building on University Avenue but will move across the street to the Westgate office complex. Allina was attracted to the site by the building’s flexible design, central location and convenient freeway access, say CSM officials. Allina will occupy the facility July 1. The Allina lease brings occupancy to 65% at the 98,200-sf Westgate V, which opened a year ago, and the overall occupancy at the five-building Westgate Business Park to over 92%, according to CSM officials.
