HOUSTON-After a six-month search, Sanchez Oil & Gas Corp. has decided to move its local operations to Heritage Plaza, signing a long-term lease for 26,848 sf of class A space.

The Laredo-based energy company is planning a summer move to 1111 Bagby St. from roughly 20,000 sf at 1001 McKinney St., according to Mike Boehler, an executive vice president with the Staubach Co.’s local office. The firm’s lease was expiring so a search was launched to find more efficient space, he tells GlobeSt.com. “They were more inclined to move than to stay where they were because they didn’t like the floor-plate configurations,” he says.
