On Friday, June 3, Giuliani will headline a media forum on the topic of "Protecting America's Office Buildings and Public Spaces in the Face of Bioweapon and Chemical Attacks." Giuliani won praise for his leadership immediately following the downing of New York's World Trade Center as a result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Giuliani will be in the company of other heavyweights offering their expertise in the areas of commercial and real estate and housing at the gathering of journalists on the housing, design, real estate and financial beats. US Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Alphonso Jackson will open the conference with a keynote address, and Federal Reserve Board Gov. Edward M. Gramlich will also make a presentation.

National Association of Home Builders chief economist David Seiders will give his midyear economic forecast. David Lereah, National Association of Realtors chief economist and author; WCI president and CEO Jerry Starkey; and Peter Rummell, chairman and CEO for the St. Joe Co. will discuss vacation housing trends. Economist Dr. John Tuccillo will discuss "Hard Landing, Soft Landing, or No Landing," and Kermit Baker, chief economist for the American Institute of Architects will discuss housing design trends. There will be a panel on what Generation Y wants to buy and the condo conversion boom, remodeling trends and the latest take on private property rights will also be covered among other topics.
