Industrial vacancy in the I-55 Corridor stands at $17.9%, according to Grubb & Ellis' most recent market report. The only submarkets with higher vacancy rates are the burgeoning I-39 Corridor at 18.5% and Northwest Indiana at 27.0%. Asking net lease rates for warehouse and distribution space averages $4.01 per sf in the I-55 Corridor, according to Grubb & Ellis.
NAI Hiffman executive vice president Daniel P. Leahy, SIOR and vice president Eric Tresslar handled negotiations for L Cubed, which developed the building at 1101 Windham Pkwy. Jeff Janda and Brian Vanosky of Lee & Associates represented RotaDyne.
Jason West and Sean Hendrick of Trammell Crow Co. represented the limited partnership that owns the 27,700-sf warehouse at 1231 Naperville Dr. in negotiations with NAI Hiffman senior associate Benjamin Cremer, who represented the division of Goodyear Tire Co.
