While four properties are in California, the rest are east of the Mississippi River. Three are in Ohio, with two each in Florida, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
The largest property involved is the 322,051-sf Page Field Commons in Fort Myers, FL. Also in the Sunshine State, Starwood Wasserman got $24.7 million for Commons of Royal Palm in Royal Palms Springs.
The costlier properties tend to be in the Golden State, as the REIT is paying $51.5 million for the 292,661-sf Commons at Temeluca, $47.2 million for the 124,614-sf Edwards Megaplex Theater in Ontario and $42.9 million for the 132,205-sf Shops on Lake Avenue in Pasadena. Another 94,600-sf Edwards Megaplex Theater in Fresno commanded $33.4 million.
The top price was the $54.6 million for the 287,172-sf University Square in University Heights, OH. Inland Western Retail also spent $18.4 million for the 245,993-sf Massillon Village Center and $15.1 million for the 76,361-sf Cuyahoga Falls Market Center in those Ohio cities.
Using another measure, the 16,000-sf Cross Roads Plaza in North Attleborough, MA, commanded $367.50 per sf or $5.9 million. In addition to the 103,070-sf Boston Commons in Springfield, MA for $14.7 million, Inland Western Retail crossed the state line to pick up the 108,897-sf Boulevard Plaza in Pawtucket, RI for $17.1 million and the 74,715-sf Brown's Lane in Middletown, RI for $11.4 million.
