TCC, C&W Trade Corporate Account Execs

SAN JOSE, CA-Trammell Crow Company hires the person formerly in charge of the Sun Microsystems account for Cushman & Wakefield to be its in-house rep at Cisco Systems. In kind, C&W backfills the Sun Microsystems position with the person formerly in charge of the McKesson Healthcare account for TCC.

SAN JOSE, CA-Trammell Crow Co. and Cushman & Wakefield recently swapped corporate account executives. TCC hired the executive formerly in charge of the Sun Microsystems account for C&W to be its in-house alliance director at Cisco Systems. In kind, C&W backfilled the Sun Microsystems position with the TCC executive formerly in charge of the McKesson Healthcare account for TCC.The former Sun Microsystems account executive for C&W, Robert Teed, is now TCC’s in-house alliance director at Cisco Systems. The former McKesson account executive for TCC, Ed Castro, is C&W’s new Sun Microsystems account executive.Trammell Crow Company has led Cisco’s real estate functions for seven years providing facilities management services for 5.4 million sf of its U.S. and Canada portfolio. In 2004, TCC was awarded the project management contract as well. TCC’s Northern California managing director Sven Pole tells GlobeSt.com that the Cisco position was previously held by an employee based in Boston that didn’t want to move to the Bay Area. TCC felt it was necessary to have someone closer than Boston in order to handle both the facilities management and the new project management duties.At Sun, Teed was in charge $80 million in outsourced real estate functions across a real estate portfolio of approximately 11 million sf. He also administered the startup and delivery of senior leadership functions including facilities management, property management, critical operations management, project management, and had oversight of about 200 employees. Those responsibilities are now in the hands of Castro, who could not be reached Tuesday for comment.
