Senior Co-Op Opens

BALTIMORE-Seniors in the city have a new residential alternative now that the 68-unit Arlington Estates Cooperative Apartments has opened its doors. The development cost of the project, spearheaded by Cooperative Services Inc., has not been publicized; but the state played its part through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community development with a $75,000 grant from the Maryland Affordable Housing Trust.

Arlington Estates sits at 601 W. Northern Parkway off I-83 and equidistant from the Bonnie View Country Club, Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, and Children’s Hospital. In addition to its large residential units, the property features a community room, library, hair salon and access to both bus and Metro lines.
