CHICAGO-Walker Wilcox & Matousek LLP has taken 18,695 sf at 225 W. Washington St. formerly occupied by Dallas-based Jenkens & Gilchrist. The sublease is for the entire 18th floor of the Marmon Building.

The previous tenant made the space attractive to the newly formed law firm specializing in insurance and commercial law. “By securing a furnished sublease alternative with an existing law firm layout, the typical up-front expenses that can be strenuous to a new firm were significantly reduced,” says CB Richard Ellis’ Connor Kerr, who represented Walker Wilcox & Matousek along with Cal Wessman. Joe Learner of Studley represented Jenkens & Gilchrist.
