ASHBURN, VA-Ashbrook Commons Shopping Center, a 200,000-sf retail property that Atlantic Realty Cos. broke ground on about a year-and-a-half ago, has been scheduled for its official debut next week. The retail property shares a 41-acre parcel with the 107,000-sf Lakes of Ashbrook professional condominium facility, both of which are part of a 277-acre mixed-use endeavor under development by Ashbrook on behalf of Loudoun Intertech Development Corp.

The center is across from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute near Rte. 7 in Loudoun County. A 49,000-sf Harris Teeter grocery anchors the project, which is also home to such retailers as Home Goods, AC Moore, Zazu and a drive-thru Starbucks. "Ashbrook Commons," Ross says, "offers a diverse mix of retail tenants."
