Monster Worldwide Leases 40,812-SF Building

TEMPE, AZ-The New York City-based job search website picks the Valley over Boise, ID and Albuquerque for a new call center. The decision, which creates 250 jobs, is mortared by a 10-year lease in Rio West Business Park.

TEMPE, AZ-Monster Worldwide Inc. has chosen Rio West Business Park over Boise, ID and Albuquerque for a 250-job call center. The New York City-based job search website inked a 10-year lease for a 40,812-sf, flex-office building in a deal valued at $6 million for the local building owner, SunCor Development Co.

“They didn’t receive any incentives to move here. It was the quality of life that attracted them,” says Mark Krison with CB Richard Ellis Inc.’s Phoenix office. He, Bob Crum and David Carder represented SunCor Development in the lease of the two-week-old building at 1721 W. Rio Salado Pkwy. Rick Collins with Ross Brown Partners Inc. in Phoenix bargained the pact for Monster Worldwide.
