UPPER MARLBORO, MD-The Collington Trade Center has reached completion, featuring two buildings totaling 200,000 sf of flex/warehouse/office space. Developed as a joint effort between Gingery Development Group and the Tower Cos., the property occupies what had been the last remaining developable parcel in the 936-acre Collington Center office and industrial business park.

The project cost approximately $14 million to complete and currently offers leasable space through David McClatchy and Charles Dukes of real estate services firm Scheer Partners for $6.50 per sf. Situated along Rte. 301, the two structures that comprise the new Collington Trade Center sit at 15800 Commerce Ct. and 15850 Commerce Ct., and feature about 90,000 sf and 110,000 sf, respectively.

Target became the first to claim space at the center, having recently opened an inventory storage and distribution facility with 21,000 sf in Building 1. "There is very good interest for the remaining space from other industrial/flex users," Gingery's J. Montgomery Gingery notes.
