HUMBLE, TX-A Houston-based investor, Jack Gross, has acquired 2.3 acres near the master planned community of Eagle Springs and plans to develop a 23,000-sf retail center on the site. Dubbed the Centre at Eagle Springs, the unanchored strip project will break ground this month.

Gross gained the deed from Parr Family LP of Houston, paying close to $6 per sf for the land, which is located at Atascocita Road and Timber Forest Drive, says Roddy McAlpine, a senior vice president with Colliers International’s Houston office. He andChristopher Klein brokered the land sale.
