GlobeSt.com EXCLUSIVE: Expanding Companies Take More Midtown Space

NEW YORK CITY-Inking a deal for 12,631 sf at the 373,000-sf 641 Lexington Ave., Corporate Suites will open its fourth Manhattan location. The provider of business facilities for smaller office users, which already has offices at 1001 Ave. of the Americas, 275 Madison Ave. and 1040 Ave. of the Americas, will take the office tower’s entire 14th floor. Research company Knowledge Networks has committed to 10,000 sf at 440 Park Ave. South. KN will be relocating offices from 212 Fifth Ave. to the Midtown South space. Financial details for both transactions were not released.

CB Richard Ellis’ Snezana Anderson and Bernhard Weinstabel negotiated the 15-year lease transaction on behalf of Corporate Suites. Rudin Management Company, Inc., the building ownership, was represented by in-house counsel. “Due to its recent growth, Corporate Suites realized it required a presence in the east side of Midtown Manhattan in order to accommodate its clients,” says Anderson.
