Trammell Crow Co. vice president Peter Beatrice has represented Amata Executive Suites in all three deals. The most recent deal involved negotiations with Equity Office Properties Trust director of leasing Jack O'Brien, which owns 161 N. Clark St. in a joint venture with TIAA-CREF. The grantie, aluminum and glass office tower was built in 1992.

Although terms of the long-term deal were not disclosed, Equity Office Properties is asking $18 per sf at the 49-story Central Loop building across the street from the James R. Thompson Center. Availability at the 1-million-sf building is 10%.
