GlobeSt.com EXCLUSIVE: French Firm Doubles Midtown Space

NEW YORK CITY-Publicly traded French IT development company GL Consultants Inc. inked a deal to double its space at 261 Madison Ave. The firm signed on for 10,333 sf marking an expansion for its previous 5,000 sf site at the property. Another publicly traded French IT company, CAST, will move from its downtown base for New York City operations at 75 Spring St. to 6,182 sf at 641 Lexington Ave. The firm will occupy the office tower’s entire 32nd penthouse floor.

The CB Richard Ellis team of Snezana Anderson and Bernhard Weinstabel arranged the 10-year transaction on behalf of GL Consultants in negotiations with owner ZAR Realty. Anderson and Rocco Laginestra negotiated the lease for CAST, while building owner Rudin Management Co. Inc. was represented by in-house counsel.
