"This deal represents the renewal of the building's second largest tenant, and solidifies the long-term tenancy of a significant portion of the building," says Jones Lang LaSalle leasing director Michael Curran, who represented building owner EB Immobilien-Investment GmbH. Michael D'Angelo, president of Binswanger's Midwest division, handled negotiations for O'Hagan, Smith & Amundsen.
EB Immobilien-Investment GmbH paid $113 million in 1999 for the 41-story building overlooking Millennium Park.
In an unrelated deal in River North, Staubach Co. has renewed its lease for 19,000 sf and 10 years at Hines Interest's building at at 321 N. Clark St. The tenant representation firm expanded its lease by 6,000 sf. Hines Interests vice president Tom D'Arcy handled negotiations for his company.
