The move coincides with Henricksen's purchase of an Allsteel office furniture dealership and facilitates their desire to provide easier access to designers and clients. The building is part of the massive redevelopment of the banks of the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis.
"This area is in the midst of a massive redevelopment project that includes restaurants, theaters and other amenities," says Clint Baer, managing director for Mohr, who represented Henricksen in the deal along with Roger Christensen of Mohr Partners.The location also has ample parking and "easy access to downtown and major thoroughfares," Baer says.
Roger Christensen and Baer of Mohr Partners represented Henricksen. The lease for Suite 100 is a three-year sublease arrangement, with Larry Chevalier of Colliers Towle Turley Martin Tucker representing the current tenant. Chris Rohrer represented the landlord, United Properties of Bloomington, MN, on the two-year lease for Suite 109. The public relations firm, Padilla Speer Beardsley, anchors the building.
