Tool Maker Moves West for More Space

NAPERVILLE, IL-Family-owned C.H. Hanson Co. is selling a 57,726-sf building on 3.2 acres in Franklin Park after buying Fisher Scientific's 95,000-sf building on 20 acres at 2000 N. Aurora Rd.

NAPERVILLE, IL-Tool maker C.H. Hanson Co. is relocating to 2000 N. Aurora Rd., a 95,000-sf building that was on the market at $3 million. Meanwhile, the family-owned company has put its Franklin Park headquarters at 3630 N. Wolf Rd. on the market.

The new location, formerly owned by Fisher Scientific, includes 15,000 sf of office space, as well as a 20-acre site. The building was constructed in 1949 and renovated in 1970. In Franklin Park, C.H. Hanson Co. has been operating out of a 57,726-sf building on 3.2 acres. The asking price for the 23-year-old building, which offers 8,000 sf of office space, is less than $1.9 million.
