SCOTTSDALE, AZ-A 15-year veteran of retail real estate has joined RED Development LLC as CFO and partner.
Jeff Teets, who's been working with the company as a consultant, is taking on a newly created role, John Bacon of RED Development tells GlobeSt.com. Teets will oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting division plus serve on the leadership team for the firm, which is co-headquartered in Scottsdale and Kansas City, MO. Among his duties is to establish new banking and financing relationships. Teets' role as a partner is to assist with retail development.
Since late 2004, Teets has been a retail real estate consultant. He previously was senior vice president of finance for Santa Monica, CA-based Macerich Co.'s Westcor Division. He was involved in Macerich's acquisition of Westcor Partners in 2002.
