CSX Selling Two Michigan Rail Lines

DETROIT-Railroad company says deals are in the works for 175 miles of the 812 miles it operates in the state. One of the lines links Grand Rapids, Ludington and Manistee; the line other connects West Olive and Fremont.

DETROIT-Two Michigan railroad track lines are for sale. CSX Corp., one of the nation’s largest railroads, says it is selling two of its Michigan lines. One of the lines links Grand Rapids, Ludington and Manistee; the line other connects West Olive and Fremont.

CSX says separate deals are in the works for both lines, but no deals have been finalized. The lines account for 175 miles of the 812 miles of track that Jacksonville, FL-based CSX owns and operates in Michigan.
