A 13,000-sf mixed-use building at 1919 N. Sheffield Ave. has been sold for $1.9 million, according to property records, to a local developer who plans to create eight units. The building has 8,000 sf of office space on the first two floors, topped by a 5,000-sf unit. "The prime location in Lincoln Park and large floor plates made this asset very attractive for condo conversion," says Millennium Properties, Inc. executive vice president Susan B. Silver, who co-brokered the deal with associate Greg Block.

A building at 1618 W. Wallen Ave. was acquired by a private investor, who reportedly plans to convert the rental units to condominiums, for $1.7 million. The building last changed hands in 1994, according to property records, for $410,000. It includes 25 one-bedroom units and nine two-bedroom units. CB Richard Ellis' Joe LaMantia represented the Chicago-based seller.
