DALLAS-7-Eleven Inc. has continued its run ofimpressive sales results. The convenience storechain’sJune 2005 sales were about $1.2 billion, an increase of 9.1%compared to June 2004 sales of about $1.1 billion.

Total merchandise sales for the month increased 6.9%to $734.4 million. Specifically, same-storemerchandise sales in the United States for for June2005 increased 5.9%, building on a 5.5% increase inJune 2004.

Gasoline sales increased 13.2% to $412.4 million,while the average gallons sold per store increased4.1% and the average retail price of a gallon ofgasoline for June 2005 was $2.19, compared to $2.01 inJune 2004.
