Robert G. Macomber, who previously held the title of president, will continue to serve as the company's CEO and chairman. Ann Arbor-based Atwell-Hicks has been on a steady growth pattern over the last several years, opening several new offices and expanding its workforce. The company, which now has six offices in Michigan, Illinois and Ohio, plans to open additional offices in Florida later this year.

Macomber is relocating to the Tampa Bay area to lead the company's expansion efforts in Florida. The Florida operations will also launch the company's Go National strategic growth plan.

"Brian's vision and experience over the past 11 years at Atwell-Hicks has positively impacted our clients, their projects and, on a broader scale, the land development community," says Macomber.

Wenzel joined Atwell-Hicks in 1994 and led the firm's organizational transition to a market-sector structure centered on private sector development consulting. Wenzel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

"The passion we have for our clients' success translates into great opportunities for our staff," says Wenzel. "As president, I hope to leverage this passion to fuel our national expansion and build on the successful initiatives we achieved over the lastdecade."

Macomber also announced that the board appointed vice president Daniel E. McNulty, as corporate secretary and William J. Burris as corporate treasurer. Both have served on the board for three years.
