CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI-An industrial building in Macomb County’s Chesterfield Township, complete with 26-foot high bays, has been transformed into a “train and play” facility.

The 24,552-sf Ultimate Sports Arena, on Structural Drive near 22 Mile and Gratiot, opened earlier this month and is hosting a grand opening event today. The business is owned and operated by Wayne and Colleen Wickersham and Walt and Darlene Lashley. The building features a regulation-size hardwood basketball court and a court area that can be configured for one or two volleyball courts or another basketball court. The volleyball area has a special “sport”-style flooring installed.
