EAGAN, MN-Toll Brothers said this week they plan to break ground later this year at Steeplechase of Eagan, a 95-unit housing development. The project, which won council approval in May for after one and a half of revising and presenting plans, will introduce Horsham, PA-based Toll Brothers to the Twin Cities market. Toll already operates in other Midwestern markets such as Chicago and Detroit.
"We are attracted to the Twin Cities area because of its strong corporate business base, its affluent customer demographics and its vibrant and diverse housing market," says Robert Toll, chairman and chief executive officer of Toll Brothers.
The project is located on the west side of Pilot Knob Road, one half mile south of Cliff Road, and features 58 townhouses and 37 single-family houses on the former Diamond T horse ranch. The first units are expected to be available in the fall of next year.
